Hollywood and Hallandale Beach sit on the stretch of Intracoastal between two inlets — Port Everglades six miles north, Haulover five miles south — which gives boaters ocean access in either direction and gives us the southernmost stop on our route. Hollywood Lakes keeps cruisers and center consoles on North Lake and South Lake, the twin basins Joseph Young dug in the 1920s to open onto the Intracoastal; Harbor Islands wraps 190 slips at Loggerhead Marina inside its gates; Golden Isles runs deep, wide canals with yachts tied behind the house. Add Diplomat Landing's yacht dockage at the Hallandale Beach line and the municipal Hollywood Marina on Polk Street, and that is a lot of gelcoat in full sun.

This is a two-asset market for us. Hollywood Lakes and Golden Isles owners keep the boat behind the house and the cars in the garage, and Three Islands and the Diplomat corridor add condo-kept yachts at marina slips with a Porsche or Tesla in the building garage. Our route runs through Loggerhead, Diplomat Landing, and the Hollywood and Hallandale Beach city marinas: washdowns on a weekly or bi-weekly cadence, correction and ceramic coating for gelcoat that has burned through a few summers on the Intracoastal, and the same coating and paint-correction standard on the vehicles — one licensed and insured team, fully mobile, scheduled around your week.
