Paint Correction in Fort Lauderdale
Measured, multi-stage machine polishing that removes swirls, water etching, and holograms from exotic and luxury paint — verified under inspection light.

Zea Detailing provides mobile paint correction in Fort Lauderdale — at Bahia Mar Yachting Center, Pier Sixty-Six Marina, Las Olas Marina, and private docks in Las Olas Isles and Harbor Beach — for exotic and luxury cars. Licensed, bonded and insured; based in West Palm Beach; Broward County.
What it is: Paint correction is the controlled machine polishing of a car's clear coat to permanently remove swirl marks, scratches, water spots, and hazing. Unlike a quick polish that fills defects for a few weeks, correction removes them, restoring true depth and reflection.
Paint Correction on Fort Lauderdale water and driveways
Most Fort Lauderdale garages sit a few feet above the waterline. A Ferrari parked in Rio Vista or on Las Olas Isles lives with the door open to the New River, salt air drifting in off the Intracoastal, and diesel fallout carried up from Port Everglades Inlet on an east wind. That mix bonds into the clear coat, and the wash mitt drags it across the panel, which is where the swirls come from. We start with chemical and mechanical decontamination, then a test spot under inspection light, before any pad touches paint.
Harbor Beach and Seven Isles both run manned guardhouses, so we clear the vendor pass and check in ahead of the appointment rather than at your gate. Work happens in your own garage, out of the sun, with our lighting and power management where the circuit allows. A multi-stage correction on a dark McLaren or G-Wagon runs longer than a one-step enhancement, and we tell you which the paint needs after the test spot, not before. Protection goes on the same visit. If the boat sits at Bahia Mar or Pier Sixty-Six Marina, we schedule both on one standing trip.
What Fort Lauderdale does to a finish
Port Everglades traffic & fallout
The inlet handles cruise ships, cargo, and 5,000-plus vessel calls a year. Diesel soot and salt settle on hulls between Harbor Beach and the 17th Street bridge — decontamination is the first step.
Boat-show-grade presentation
This is the FLIBS town. Hulls here get compared to the show fleet at Bahia Mar every fall — dark hulls, brightwork, and glass need correction and coating that hold up to that comparison.
Two assets, one gate
Harbor Beach is guard-gated and Seven Isles has its own manned guardhouse. We handle gate passes and vendor check-in where they apply, service the yacht and the garage on the same standing visit, and coordinate through captains and staff so you never manage vendors.

Paint Correction in Fort Lauderdale — FAQ
Good questions
How long does paint correction take?
A one-step enhancement on a well-kept car is usually a full day. A multi-stage correction on an exotic or a neglected dark car is one to two days — we don't rush paint, and we don't count hours against your result.
Will correction remove all scratches?
It removes everything that lives in the clear coat: swirls, light scratches, water etching, holograms. A scratch you can catch a fingernail in is usually through the clear and needs touch-up or paint — we'll tell you honestly during the assessment.
Do you service yachts at Bahia Mar, Pier Sixty-Six, and Las Olas Marina?
Yes — we can meet your boat at all three, and at Sunrise Harbor, Hall of Fame Marina, and Marina Bay on the New River. We're licensed, bonded and insured, and we coordinate slip access and any dockmaster requirements with your captain before the first visit.
Can you work inside Harbor Beach and Seven Isles?
Yes. Both are guarded communities, and we handle vendor registration and gate coordination ourselves. The yacht at the private dock and the vehicles in the garage can be combined on one standing visit — one team your gate staff knows, one schedule, one invoice.
Can you run a full correction inside a tight Las Olas Isles garage?
Yes. Most correction happens with the garage door closed and enough clearance to walk every panel. If the space is tight or the circuit is light, we work panel groups in sequence and bring our own lighting. Garages in Bay Colony, Coral Ridge, and Rio Vista rarely give us trouble.
Should we correct before the fall boat show crowd arrives at Bahia Mar?
Book early. Bahia Mar and the surrounding yards fill with show prep every fall, and Las Olas Marina and Hall of Fame Marina traffic follows. Multi-stage correction on a dark car or hull is not a week-of job, so we set those visits well ahead of the show fleet's arrival.
