Interior & Brightwork in Fort Lauderdale
Cabin interiors, marine vinyl, teak, stainless and polished metals, engine rooms — and full automotive interiors — finished to the same standard as the hull.

Zea Detailing provides mobile interior & brightwork detailing in Fort Lauderdale — at Bahia Mar Yachting Center, Pier Sixty-Six Marina, Las Olas Marina, and private docks in Las Olas Isles and Harbor Beach — for boats and cars. Licensed, bonded and insured; based in West Palm Beach; Broward County.
What it is: Interior and brightwork detailing covers everything aboard that isn't the hull: upholstery and vinyl deep-cleaned and UV-conditioned, teak cleaned and brightened, stainless rails and hardware machine-polished to a mirror, and engine rooms degreased back to white. For cars, it means leather, carpets, and trim brought back to showroom condition.
Interior & Brightwork on Fort Lauderdale water and driveways
A sportfish tied stern-to on a private dock in Las Olas Isles takes the worst of it on the inside. Soot drifting up from Port Everglades Inlet settles into cockpit seams and SeaDek edges, the helm vinyl goes tacky where sunscreen and salt meet afternoon sun, and the stainless rails haze before anyone notices. Teak covering boards gray out in a season. Boats here run out the New River and back through the Intracoastal with no fixed bridges, so they get used constantly and the interior never gets a rest.
We work Harbor Beach and Seven Isles through their guardhouses, sending vendor details and plates ahead so the captain or house staff is not chasing us at the gate. On the dock we go in stages: overheads and panels first, then vinyl and upholstery deep-cleaned and UV-conditioned, teak cleaned and brightened, stainless machine-polished last so nothing settles back into it. Engine rooms get degreased on a cool morning. If a Porsche or G-Wagon is in the garage, it goes on the same standing visit.
What Fort Lauderdale does to a finish
Port Everglades traffic & fallout
The inlet handles cruise ships, cargo, and 5,000-plus vessel calls a year. Diesel soot and salt settle on hulls between Harbor Beach and the 17th Street bridge — decontamination is the first step.
Boat-show-grade presentation
This is the FLIBS town. Hulls here get compared to the show fleet at Bahia Mar every fall — dark hulls, brightwork, and glass need correction and coating that hold up to that comparison.
Two assets, one gate
Harbor Beach is guard-gated and Seven Isles has its own manned guardhouse. We handle gate passes and vendor check-in where they apply, service the yacht and the garage on the same standing visit, and coordinate through captains and staff so you never manage vendors.

Interior & Brightwork in Fort Lauderdale — FAQ
Good questions
Do you detail engine rooms?
Yes — engine room and bilge detailing is one of our signature services. A clean, white engine room isn't vanity: it makes leaks visible early, survey days easier, and resale conversations shorter.
Can you remove mildew from marine vinyl?
In most cases, yes — and more importantly we treat and condition the vinyl afterward so it resists coming back. Long-neglected stitching can be permanently stained; we'll tell you honestly what will and won't come out.
Do you service yachts at Bahia Mar, Pier Sixty-Six, and Las Olas Marina?
Yes — we can meet your boat at all three, and at Sunrise Harbor, Hall of Fame Marina, and Marina Bay on the New River. We're licensed, bonded and insured, and we coordinate slip access and any dockmaster requirements with your captain before the first visit.
Can you work inside Harbor Beach and Seven Isles?
Yes. Both are guarded communities, and we handle vendor registration and gate coordination ourselves. The yacht at the private dock and the vehicles in the garage can be combined on one standing visit — one team your gate staff knows, one schedule, one invoice.
Can you do interiors and brightwork during boat show week at Bahia Mar?
Yes. We schedule brightwork and interiors around Bahia Mar Yachting Center dock assignments and work in the early window before foot traffic. Stainless gets machine-polished in passes so it reads clean under show lighting, and vinyl is conditioned the day prior so nothing is still flashing when guests board.
Our boat is hauled out at Lauderdale Marine Center. Is that a bad time for interior work?
We handle interiors and engine rooms while you are hauled at Safe Harbor Lauderdale Marine Center. Yard dust makes it the right time for upholstery, teak and bilge work, and we check in through the yard office. Brightwork polishing we usually save until you are back in the water and washed down.
