Interior & Brightwork in Dania Beach

Cabin interiors, marine vinyl, teak, stainless and polished metals, engine rooms — and full automotive interiors — finished to the same standard as the hull.

Navy yacht bow after gelcoat correction and ceramic coating — mobile boat detailing for Dania Beach

Zea Detailing provides mobile interior & brightwork detailing in Dania Beach — at Harbour Towne Marina, Seahaven Superyacht Marina, Derecktor Dania, and private docks in Melaleuca Gardens and Davis Isles — for boats and cars. Licensed, bonded and insured; based in West Palm Beach; Broward County.

What it is: Interior and brightwork detailing covers everything aboard that isn't the hull: upholstery and vinyl deep-cleaned and UV-conditioned, teak cleaned and brightened, stainless rails and hardware machine-polished to a mirror, and engine rooms degreased back to white. For cars, it means leather, carpets, and trim brought back to showroom condition.

Interior & Brightwork on Dania Beach water and driveways

A boat coming out of the racks at Harbour Towne goes back up wet, and the cabin never really dries between launches — salt film on the vinyl, damp carpet under the console, stainless rails carrying diesel soot that drifts in from Port Everglades Inlet. Boats tied on the Dania Cut-Off Canal have the opposite problem: yard dust and bottom-paint overspray from the haul-outs next door work into teak grain and nonskid, and it grinds into upholstery seams every time someone steps aboard from the dock.

We book around the forklift at Harbour Towne and around yard schedules at Derecktor Dania and Royale Palm Yacht Basin, and clear gate access at Seahaven Superyacht Marina before the truck rolls. Interiors get extracted and dried before vinyl is conditioned, so nothing gets sealed in damp. Teak is cleaned and brightened with the mildest chemistry that will lift the gray; stainless is machine-polished, then protected; engine rooms come last. On a slip at Dania Beach Municipal Marina we start early, before the afternoon sea breeze carries salt back over open hatches. Car interiors in Melaleuca Gardens and Davis Isles garages we run the same trip, in the driveway.

What Dania Beach does to a finish

Yard dust and bottom-paint overspray

Boats on the Cut live next to active haul-outs. Sanding dust and antifouling overspray settle on gelcoat and glass; we decontaminate before it bonds, then coat so it rinses off next time.

Dry-stack forklift cycles

Racked boats at Harbour Towne come down salty and go back up wet. We wash on the ground after the pull and time visits to your launch schedule.

Port Everglades traffic and diesel soot

Diesel soot from port traffic settles on hulls and stainless along the Cut and the beach basin. Regular decontamination keeps it off dark gelcoat and metal before it stains.

Interior & Brightwork in Dania Beach — FAQ

Good questions

Do you detail engine rooms?

Yes — engine room and bilge detailing is one of our signature services. A clean, white engine room isn't vanity: it makes leaks visible early, survey days easier, and resale conversations shorter.

Can you remove mildew from marine vinyl?

In most cases, yes — and more importantly we treat and condition the vinyl afterward so it resists coming back. Long-neglected stitching can be permanently stained; we'll tell you honestly what will and won't come out.

Do you work inside the yards on the Dania Cut-Off Canal?

Yes. We service boats at Harbour Towne, Royale Palm, and Playboy Marine, and can work on the hard at Derecktor Dania and inside Seahaven with vendor approval, which we arrange through the yard office. We check in on arrival and stay clear of active lifts and work bays.

Can you detail a boat while it's on the blocks?

That is often the best time. With the boat hauled we can correct and coat the entire hull, including the boot stripe and below the waterline before bottom paint goes on. Give us the yard's window and we schedule around it.

Can you do the interior on a boat that lives in the dry stack at Harbour Towne?

We work it on the ground after the pull, not in the rack. Tell us your launch window and we schedule to it — interior, brightwork, teak and stainless get done between the forklift bringing it down and putting it back up, so hatches close dry.

Our boat is in a yard on the Dania Cut-Off Canal with sanding going on nearby. Should we wait?

Do the cabin now if you're using the boat; save brightwork and teak for after the yard finishes. Sanding dust and antifouling overspray land on freshly polished stainless while crews are still working nearby. We'll seal openings, run the interior, and come back for the brightwork pass once the boat is released.
